On 1st June 2008,
Choeung Ek Genocide Center started a construction to build a new
museum, which are 190 meter squares. The museum will compose of
rooms for showing movie of Pol Pot regime, rooms for showing
evidence of killing people activities and the photographs of the
victims, 3 places of seats for visitors, 1 WC, and 1 ticketing and
guiding office. According to the construction plan, it will be
finished at the end of 2008.
Development Activities for Society
1.
Choeung Ek Genocide Center has offered
many scholarships to many students throughout the country. It
offered 150 scholarships to students to study in various
universities in Cambodia. One student was offered
scholarship to study in the USA. Two students were offered
scholarship to study in Japan through Sun Foundation

Choeung Ek Genocide Center has donated to Samdech
Hun Sen One Village One Product Fund, Cambodia Youth Association and
Poor people in the community

Choeung Ek genocide Center has offered money to
build the Village Chief Office and to reconstruct an old bridge at
Rolos Village, Sangkat Choeung Ek, Khan Dang Kor, Phnom Penh
